Why all these kits for 2500
Series GM Trucks?
The 1st 2 Kits we offered for the
Chevrolet Pickups would be the 30060 & 30061. These two
kits took care of short bed (30061) and long bed (30060)
models and fit vehicles from 99 up to 2007. When the 07 New
Body Style Chevrolet Pickup was introduced we found that the
30061 kit fit the short bed models., but had no kit to fit
long bed models, so we introduced the 30082. Now you will see
from the listing below the 30082 does not fit the older 99-00
model vehicles, so in turn we need to keep the 30061 Kit.
Hopefully this helps and it looks like we will continue to
mfg. 3 kits for Chevrolet Pickups.
